Andreas Schöneberg - Dienstag, 07 September 2010Noch vor einem Jahr haben meine Bekannten alle geunkt: Irgendwann spielt er über sein iPhone auch noch Gitarre... nun ist es soweit. Das AmpKit ist
eine von zwei derzeit verfügbaren Software-Lösungen. Bei dem Peavey Ampkit Link handelt es sich zunächst erstmal nur um dem Adapter. Im AppStore
muss man dann entsprechend die Software erwerben. Zum Reinschnuppern gibt es eine kostenlose Version. Die kann man zunächst auch erst mal ohne
Gitarre testen, weil sich anhand von Beispiel-Licks verschiedene Sounds testen lassen. Wer wirklich über das iPhone spielen will, sollte die +
Version erwerben. Und es lohnt sich: Die Sounds sind durchweg mehr als brauchbar, man kann verschiedene Amps mit unterschiedlichen Boxen kombinieren,
es gibt zahlreiche Effekte. Somit ist vom Vox AC30/Delay-U2-Grundsound über knurrigen Rock bis zu Metal alles möglich. Die Sounds sind so gut, dass
es wirklich Spaß macht, über das iPhone zu spielen. Die Latenz ist nicht spürbar. Allerdings muss man bei der Zerre ein bisschen aufpassen, weil es
- wie im richtigen Leben - durchaus zu Feedback kommen kann. Wer mag, kann mit dem Peavey Ampkit Link sogar aufnehmen oder live ins Pult gehen. Gut,
das geht vielleicht etwas weit, aber wer mit der Wahnvorstellung zu kämpfen hat, sein Amp könne mitten im Gig abrauchen und deswegen immer einen
Reserve-Amp mitschleppt, der kann das vielleicht zukünftig einfacher haben. Nur das Netzteil nicht vergessen, denn das iPhone ist auch hier ein
gnadenloser Stromfresser. Fazit: Früher hatten wir Telefone mit Kabel und den Tom Scholz Rockmann. Heute haben wir das iPhone... und sonst gar nix.
Technik kann auch Spaß machen :-)
